Yes! Mini Lops are well known for their calm disposition.
Are prices will vary depending on the Mini Lop and what lines (parents) he/she is out of? Majority of the time are Mini Lops will start at $200 and go up from there.
Mini Lops are not the smallest in the lop family of rabbits but they aren't the biggest either. Mini Lops weigh an average of 6 1/2 pounds when fully grown, which sometimes takes over a year.
No! My daughter and son are the reason we started showing rabbits. They started showing in 4-h then decided to try showing at the American Rabbit Breeders Assoc shows locally. The breeder that we bought our rabbits from was there to help us learn what to do. We would also do the same and be there for you to guide you on what to do.
ARBA shows are shows that youth and adults can show at (yes there are alot of us adults that show) and you can earn local and national points to be recognized at the end of the year. ARBA shows are all over the US at all times of the year. I have shown not only in Texas but Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Wyoming, Oklahoma and Kentucky. Also ARBA puts on a convention every year which is the superbowl of all rabbit shows. Breeders come from all over, even overseas, to show rabbits, it's a great opportunity to meet breeders from other states and make friends.
